WELCOME TO OM APIARIES
Om Apiaries, what's in a name?
*Om is mystic symbol, considered the most sacred mantra in Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism. It appears at the beginning and end of most Sanskrit recitations, prayers and texts. We feel that Om (more over the sound it makes) mimics the rhythmic group hum of an active hive, we also find that bees are a true blessing, and we are humbled that they allow us to host them.
Apiary is defined as a place where bees are kept. A "collection" of beehives. Instead of a crazy cat lady, we are crazy bee people.

The instigator: Heather decided to save the world's food supplies by adding pollinators, mainly honeybees, to the area. She convinced her partner Todd to keep bees in their backyard, thus they co-founded Ōm* Apiaries (🕉️) in 2021 after discovering their mutual passion for learning about and caring for these fascinating creatures.

Aside from attempting to plant a garden specifically for pollinators of all kinds, we're also trying to help keep them hydrated with various water options around the yard. We are on the hunt for the perfect location for the official Apiary, while staying in Oroville to preserve the quality of our product, more to come!
